about cam

For Camryn Snow, music has always been more than something she does — it is how she understands herself and connects with the world around her. Growing up in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she sang from a young age and naturally gravitated toward the stage through musical theater and choir. By elementary school, she was performing regularly, and by fourth grade, she knew music was what she dreamed of pursuing. Throughout middle and high school, she immersed herself in performance, earning lead roles in every school musical and committing herself to voice lessons. Those early years taught her how to tell stories, hold an audience, and lead with emotion — skills that continue to shape her work today.

Outside of theater, Camryn found her place in live music through a professional teen rock band that performed consistently throughout her hometown region. She fronted Frog Gods, where she worked closely with Xander Hoishik and gained early experience in songwriting, touring locally, and building real audiences. In Frog Gods, Camryn and Xander developed the creative partnership that would come to define her career. Writing together, rehearsing constantly, and learning how to communicate musically and personally, they built a foundation of trust and shared vision that continues to shape her work. Looking back on that time, Camryn describes it as “doing exactly what I dreamed of.”

As the band years gave way to a solo artist path, Camryn and Xander chose to continue working as a tightly connected duo rather than separating creatively. While Camryn Snow stands as the front-facing artist, her music remains rooted in their collaboration. “Xander leads the instrumental and production-side creation of the music, and I bring my distinct vocal identity and creative style, blending into a cohesive sound,” she explains. Their partnership is built on constant feedback, shared instincts, and long-term creative goals.

On stage, their relationship translates into a performance dynamic defined by chemistry and connection. Camryn and Xander serve as principal collaborators, reflecting how the music is created. Years of shared experience allow them to move easily through sets, adjust in real time, and create shows that feel intentional and personal. Audiences often remark on the sense of unity between them — a result of growing together as musicians rather than assembling a project later in their careers.

Alongside her music career, Camryn lives what she calls “two lives and one dream.” While building her catalog and performing regularly, she is also a dedicated collegiate rugby athlete. Balancing practices, tournaments, travel, writing sessions, and performances has shaped her discipline and resilience. Athletics and music reinforce one another, strengthening her focus and work ethic. “I’m a full-time athlete but still finding time to make music because this is what I love,” she says.

Camryn has released three original singles to date: “Used to Be,” “Almost,” and her most recent release, “Say That You Love Me.” Together, these songs reflect her growth as a songwriter and performer, from early explorations of identity and relationships to a more confident, emotionally focused voice. Her recent work leans further into vulnerability and connection, prioritizing meaning over trends. “Every release feels like another step closer to what I want to be, and I couldn’t do it without you all listening, caring, and growing with me,” she shares.

Offstage, Camryn maintains an active presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, where she shares performances, creative moments, and everyday life. Her online presence mirrors her music: thoughtful, grounded, and genuine. Rather than presenting a polished persona, she invites listeners into her process and growth.

From musical theater stages and professional teen rock shows with Frog Gods to college rugby fields, recording studios, and live venues, Camryn Snow’s journey has been shaped by persistence, partnership, and authenticity. At the center of that journey is her long-standing creative bond with Xander Hoishik — a duo built on shared history and a commitment to growth. With each release, Camryn continues building a catalog rooted in lived experience and emotional clarity. As she moves forward, she remains focused on creating work that reflects who she is — an artist balancing ambition and humility, discipline and vulnerability, two lives and one enduring dream.
